Cody (Bullet Club) w/ Brandi Rhodes & Bury the Drug Free Bear vs. Matt Taven
Matt Taven stole Cody’s Ring of Honor, and Cody wants his ring back. With all the trouble with Kenny Omega, Cody’s attention is quite split. Taven seems to be a roadblock on his way to Supercard of Honor and he wants to get by him in order to focus his attention on Bullet Club. Cody comes out all smiles, believing to be in control of Bullet Club.
Cody went for the Cross Rhodes very early, but Taven escaped to the outside. Matt trash talked Bury and Cody dove onto him. Cody went for The Ring on the table, but Taven cut him off. Rhodes regained control back in the ring with a flatliner. Cody locked in The American Death Lock, but Taven was too close to the ropes and he escaped quickly.
Both men exchanged a series of chops, and Taven bailed to the outside again. Taven goes after Brandi, but it was a ruse to get Cody to come after him. Matt dove onto Cody and took control in the match. Taven went for a backbreaker of some sort, but it was botched. Cody went for the Beautiful Disaster, but Taven caught him with a Boston crab. Taven continued to work over the back, even with Cody getting brief moments of control.
Bury got a chair and went to give it to Cody, but it ended up distracting the referee. Taven smacked Cody with his cane and hit the Cross Rhodes on Cody! Cody kicked out, but the damage might be done. Taven missed a frog splash, and Cody managed to hit the Disaster kick. Taven somehow managed to hit Climax, but Cody kicked out. The referee ended up down after Cody ducked a cross body attempt from Taven.
The Kingdom comes out and holds Cody as Taven kicks Cody low. Cody drops to the mat but gets up quickly to reveal that he was wearing a cup. Cody anticipated the low blow. Bully Ray quickly chased off the rest of The Kingdom. Cody hit the Cross Rhodes and pinned Taven! He recovered the Ring of Honor as well.

Not a bad match at all. After the match, Cody went to hug Bury, and Bury shoved him to the mat. Bury took off the head to reveal Kenny Omega! Omega hit a V-Trigger on Cody to a roar from the crowd! Brandi grabbed Kenny and kissed him. She screamed, “You want that, right? You’re a fraud! You tell Ibushi how that felt!” Woah.
