Dalton Castle (c) w/ The Boys vs. Jay Lethal – ROH World Championship

Jay Lethal carries himself like he’s the man. Because in ROH, he is the man. He is one of the most decorated champions in ROH history, and he wants his title back. Dalton Castle is no slouch though, as he is one of the most charismatic wrestlers in the world. Castle looks like that ROH title was made for him. Both men were showered in streamers from the audience. There have only been 24 World Champions in the history of ROH, and Jay Lethal wants to be among the few that have held it twice. Castle and Lethal both keep the Code of Honor.

The story of this match involves Lethal trying to hit the Lethal Injection throughout it, and Dalton trying to counter with the Bang-A-Rang. Lethal hit his series of dives on Castle, hitting two before Castle grabbed him and hit a deadlift German Suplex on the outside of the ring. That was crazy.

After an exchange of moves in the ring, Lethal hit the Lethal Combination, but Castle kicked out. Lethal went for the Lethal Injection, but Dalton stoped him. Jay locked Dalton in the torture rack and did a front flip, driving Dalton into the mat. Lethal was absolutely taking it to Castle giving him the biggest test of his championship reign. Lethal hit the Lethal Injection, but Dalton Castle kicked out! Back in the ring, after a series of counters, Dalton managed to hit Bang-A-Rang and he pinned Lethal! This match was incredible.

Yes, I loved this match enough to almost give it 5 stars. Lethal and Castle tore the house down. This match was absolutely incredible. Castle has finally established himself as the new man in ROH. This doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of Jay Lethal though. This was absolutely excellent.

Marty Scrull ran down to the ring and challenged Dalton Castle! The show closes with Castle and Scrull facing off!

This was a phenomenal wrestling show. If you have a chance to check it out, I absolutely recommend it. Ring of Honor seems to be doing all the right things as of late and have delivered a lot of good wrestling. Now, everything is heading toward Supercard of Honor in April, which will be the biggest show in the history of the company.

They have already broken their ticket sales record, and you can expect 5000-6000 people to be in attendance for the show. Everything is heading towards Kenny Omega vs. Cody and Dalton Castle vs. Marty Scrull. The next few shows are going to be outstanding for ROH.
