1. Dolph Ziggler

So, if Rusev’s tweet about a match with a celebrity is actually part of a wrestling angle, a match with Dolph Ziggler at WrestleMania is actually a payoff that makes sense.

You see, Dolph’s new gimmick is that he doesn’t care about the glitz and the glamor and only cares about being the best in the ring. So, Rusev’s quest for a celebrity to face at WrestleMania could anger Ziggler saying that this is what is wrong with WWE today.

He could argue that celebrities and part timers are creating a mockery out of the event when WrestleMania is meant for WRESTLING. Since Dolph claims to be the best in ring performer, he should also claim that he deserves a spot in a match at WrestleMania over a celebrity.

That could then spark a feud between Rusev and Ziggler with Rusev basically being the goof that he is and Ziggler constantly ruining his fun. This would be the start of the Rusev face turn we have been craving for which should then become cemented with his match against Ziggler at WrestleMania.

This match would be a great way to kill two, actually three, birds with one stone. The most over guy in the company gets on the WrestleMania card, a10+ year veteran finally gets the singles match at WrestleMania that has been snubbed from him for countless years, and we get a storyline that makes a fan favorite a face.

It sounds like a great feud worthy of the WrestleMania stage, but quite frankly, I’d be satisfied with any match so long as Rusev gets some kind of spotlight at WrestleMania. Just please don’t stick him in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
