1. Edge

Edge practically bleeds blue as he carried SmackDown as the brand’s top heel for a few years during the last brand split. He has shown his loyalty to SmackDown  by appearing on the show to show support for their Survivor Series clash against Raw.

Edge, a lifelong WWE fan and one of the greatest all time, had to sadly hang up his boots and retire early due to injury. While this was a tough pill to swallow for the Rated R Superstar and fans around the world, he has been making the most of his post-wrestling career as an actor, husband, dad, and podcaster.

So, Edge is keeping himself busy without wrestling, but you can’t help but think that someone who loves wrestling so much would want to partake in the show in some way, shape, or form. He obviously still keeps up with the product as he talks about it on his weekly podcast, so he could jump into the role without missing a beat.

WWE’s schedule can be tough to handle, especially for someone like Edge who has a lot on his plate right now personally and in his career, but a role that only asks for him to show up on Tuesday nights is definitely doable opportunity for the Ultimate Opportunist.

Next: Daniel Bryan's Return Will Be Remembered Forever

Even though he may not be able to follow in the footsteps of Daniel Bryan as an in ring competitor, it certainly would be awesome to see Edge on a WWE product again, even if it is just as an authority figure.
