WWE: 5 Superstars Who Would Benefit From a Brand Switch
By Rob Furness
Seth Rollins
As far as character resets go, I don’t think anyone needs to switch brands more than Seth “Freaking” Rollins. Injuries have soured nearly every angle Rollins has been in since before WrestleMania 33. The Shield reunion was a bust when Roman missed the 3-on-5 TLC match on October 22. Then in December Rollins’ tag team partner, Dean Ambrose, was sidelined with a tricep injury. The Architect was then placed in an impromptu tag team with Jason Jordan, before Jordan was sidelined with a neck injury in January.
Obviously, none of this is Rollins’ fault. But the non-starter angles have left his character in a bit of a rut. Luckily, Rollins finds himself in Intercontinental Title match at WrestleMania 34, which could provide him with much-needed direction. But escaping to SmackDown as a prominent superstar, could reignite his career. He could even find himself back in the WWE Championship picture – something that seems nearly impossible on RAW.

Not only would a brand split be great for his championship aspirations, but it could create some great drama. Recently Rollins has been going by the moniker “Monday Night Rollins.” How would he react to being shipped to SmackDown? Would he burn it down, or would he rebuild it?
