16. Class of 1995

As only the third-ever WWE Hall of Fame class, the 1995 class included several of the business’s top names from the past.  It was only the second full WWE Hall of Fame class after the inaugural class in 1993, which only featured Andre The Giant. and the 1994 class that featured a full-length class as well.

The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 1995 featured some of the biggest names in wrestling history up to that point.  Ernie Ladd, The Fabulous Moolah, Pedro Morales, Ivan Putski, Antonino Rocca, George The Animal Steele, and The Grand Wizard made up the class and each of the inductees more than made their mark on the WWE and the wrestling business as a whole.

Ladd, Moolah, Morales, Steele, and others were synonymous names in wrestling history at that point and those names still resonate to this day.  The hall of fame hadn’t developed into what it is today in 1995, but it still honored legends of the business and shined a light on their legendary careers.

Looking at the names closer, despite how she is viewed in some regards today, Moolah’s impact on women’s wrestling couldn’t be overstated.  She helped revolutionize what we see today in terms of women’s wrestling and was a true pioneer.  The rest of the 1995 class also had big impacts in wrestling as well.

The WWE Hall of Fame was still trying to find its footing, but the 1995 class featured several recognizable talents that all found a home in the hall of fame.
