Carmella Tries To Cash In Again

I wonder if Carmella sees the writing on the wall as Ms. Money in the Bank, because she’s closing in on 300 days as the briefcase holder. SmackDown Live hasn’t exactly focused much of the attention on her during her run as the briefcase holder, so she’s been in a bit of a difficult spot.

However, the crowd has thoroughly enjoyed her hilarious cash-in attempts, which have amounted to her kicking the ref on accident and watching Natalya roll up Charlotte Flair just milliseconds before the ref could officially cash in her contract.

It’s been a wild ride for Carmella, and some fans are worried that she will end up with an unsuccessful cash in. The SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte, is set to face the undefeated Asuka at WrestleMania, and it would be extremely doubtful for Carmella to cash in on “The Queen”. It would be even less likely for her to cash in on The Empress. While she could take the title off of the Raw Women’s Champion on Sunday, that might be too bold of a call for the WWE to make.

So on the episode of SmackDown Live before WrestleMania, I expect Carmella to attempt another cash in, because there will be a rematch between Charlotte and Natalya. As noted, Carmella already tried to cash in on a match between these two competitors a couple of weeks ago, but she was unsuccessful, thanks to Natalya.

I don’t expect the cash in to actually happen, but I would keep my eye out for the WWE to at least tease something here.
