3. Angle and Rousey Lose

No way, right? There is just not a chance in the world that after all of the hype surrounding Ronda Rousey that began three years ago at WrestleMania 31 and culminated in her official debut at the Royal Rumble, that in her first official match with the WWE, she’d lose, right? Well there’s a reason that the video montages showing the level of hard work and dedication that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have put in have been so in depth and prevalent in the past weeks and maybe it’s not just to make Stephanie look like a worthy adversary to a former UFC world champion. Maybe, just maybe its set up what could be a win from the heels on Sunday.

Now obviously there’s a caveat here. If Angle and Rousey lose it’ll be because “The Game” pins Angle. No way is Rousey going to eat a pin in her first match even if its Triple H that does it. But Hunter and Angle have a very complicated and expansive past that even managed to rear its ugly head at last years Survivor Series when the two were on opposite sides then as well. There’s a way to make Rousey look like a star at WrestleMania while still having Triple H and Stephanie win. And that might be the smart call here.

To add some validity to this, lets go back to the rumor mill. According to Wrestlingnews.co, after her victory over Charlotte, the WWE plans to keep Asuka undefeated until a WrestleMania 35 showdown with Rousey.  If that’s the case, that’s an awful lot of time for Rousey to beat up on either brands women’s division before finally getting the title shot. A win from Stephanie and Triple will continue this feud and could ultimately lead to a Rousey/Stephanie one on one match at SummerSlam.

Yes, it’s a bit of a reach. But that’s why these are called “bold”.
