WWE WrestleMania 34: Why John Cena vs. The Undertaker is Happening

This past Monday on Raw, John Cena called out The Undertaker once again for a match at WWE WrestleMania 34.

For weeks now, John Cena has been calling out “The Deadman” to no success.

Week after week, Undertaker has ignored the begging of Cena and the massive cheers of the live WWE audience.

But something was different about Cena’s message this week. He kept talking about trying to “summon” The Undertaker.

Cena tried everything he could to get ‘Taker to respond. He included the fans and had the Philips Arena shaking with noise in Atlanta on Monday.

Then Cena said the most important words he’s said since he started his call-outs.

Cena said to Undertaker, “The second you ignore these people, you are a DEAD MAN WALKING”.

This choice of words was an obvious reference to the “American Badass” version of The Undertaker that we haven’t seen on WWE TV since way back before WrestleMania 20.

Cena then reinforced my feelings about a returning “Badass” when he said, “It’s obvious that you left your hat in the ring, but it’s clear to everyone here that you left your balls at home”.

This statement by Cena basically confirmed that The Deadman is finally dead but Mark Calaway is coming to WrestleMania to take on John Cena.

With all of Cena’s talk of summoning “The Phenom” I predict that he’ll try to do just that once again at WrestleMania in the center of the ring.

This time, his choice of words will trigger a response.

I think that Cena will have the crowd riled up into frenzy with the fans chanting for The Undertaker to DO SOMETHING.

That’s when Cena will stare right into the camera as if ‘Taker is right in front of him and he’ll ask a very simple question, “Are you scared?”

From there, we hear a motorcycle engine rev up and newly inducted WWE Hall of Famer, Kid Rock walks on stage.

“American Badass” is performed live as the Super Dome erupts in New Orleans.

The Undertaker rides down to the ring and we finally see Cena vs. ‘Taker one-on-one at WrestleMania.
