3. Daniel Bryan’s Long-Awaited In-Ring Return And Its Effect

Many fans began to believe that Daniel Bryan would never compete in a WWE ring again after his apparent retirement in early-2016 due to injury.  But everyone involved with the WWE was overjoyed when it was announced in recent weeks that Bryan has been medically cleared to compete.

It wouldn’t take long to find out when Bryan would compete in his first match back.  At WrestleMania 34, it will be Bryan teaming with Shane McMahon to battle Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a match over six months in the making and a match with high stakes.  If Owens and Zayn win, they will be rehired, but if they lose, they will stay fired after their assault of Shane O’Mac in recent weeks.

This is the payoff match that has taken months to get to, but Bryan’s in-ring return has seemingly overshadowed the storyline as of late.  How will the WWE go about his first match back?  Will the company allow him to compete at his past level in which he reached the pinnacle of the WWE or will he be limited in what he is able to do?

That could directly affect the course of the match as well.  The saga between these four individuals has to come to an end, so that could lead to Bryan and Shane getting the win and Owens and Zayn taking their talents to Monday nights.  And even if Bryan and Shane lose, it would be surprising to see Bryan take the pin unless the WWE has something up its sleeve for him somewhere down the line.

Regardless of how it turns out, Bryan’s return to in-ring competition has drastically shaken up WrestleMania 34 and this match to its very core.
