Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Asuka, SmackDown Women’s Championship

Jack Clayton: One of the best built up feuds has been Charlotte and Asuka for the SmackDown Live women’s championship. After winning the first women’s Royal Rumble, it seemed for a while that Asuka was set to go for the Raw Women’s Championship. But after a surprise appearance at Fastlane, things are set for her to be in charge of the blue brand. These two women are among the best workers in the WWE, so this has the potential to steal the show. But if the mixed match challenge finals were a preview for anything, nobody is ready for Asuka. It doesn’t look like they’ll be breaking her undefeated streak anytime soon. And by the looks of it, Asuka is set to win her first championship on the main roster.

Bryan Heaton: I don’t see Charlotte being the one to break Asuka‘s undefeated streak, but I do see her giving The Empress of Tomorrow her best WWE match to date.

Liam Hoofe: This match could well be the finest women’s match in the event’s history. While the match will no doubt tease it, several times, I don’t see Asuka‘s streak being brought to an end here.

Christopher Jeter: I’m probably looking forward to this match more than any other bout on the card. I would likely want to see it more if WWE didn’t decide to randomly give Natalya of all people a win over Flair a couple of weeks ago (they did give Flair her win back last Tuesday, yay 50/50 booking). I’m curious to see how these ladies mesh in the ring, but both are extremely skilled and should deliver a classic. A Carmella cash-in is a possibility, but I think that would be a mistake. I also think it would be a mistake to have Asuka lose if they plan to have her face Ronda Rousey within the next year. So, I’ll pick “The Empress of Tomorrow” to win the title, but in a way that somewhat protects Charlotte.

Trace Johnson: This could end up being possibly the best one-on-one women’s match in WrestleMania history.  Both are outstanding and would be deserved winners, but I think Asuka‘s streak stays intact and she wins the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Joe Soriano: Please don’t end Asuka‘s streak please don’t end Asuka’s streak please don’t end Asuka’s streak.
