3. Bobby Lashley’s Return Adds Main Event Caliber Talent To Raw

Throughout the mid-2000’s, a superstar that seemed destined to take off with main event success was Bobby Lashley.  That didn’t pan out exactly like most thought it would, but his talent and upside couldn’t be denied even if he was still in the infancy stages of his wrestling career.

It had been rumored for a while that Lashley was headed back to the WWE, so what better night to return than the night after WrestleMania?  Elias was in the ring last night giving the crowd a patented Elias performance while trying to gain cheap heat, but he didn’t expect what was coming next when a certain somebody interrupted him.

That certain somebody was Lashley and he hit the ring to approach Elias and make a statement.  That statement was destruction as he dominated Elias and held him up in the suplex position for longer than anybody should be able to hold somebody up in that position.  Lashley made his presence felt in a big way in his first night back in the WWE since 2008.

Lashley’s return adds immediate star power to the Raw brand and even though it didn’t work out initially in the WWE, he is now a seasoned veteran with true main event caliber attributes that can turn Monday nights upside down much like he did to Elias last night.  It should be interesting to see what the WWE has planned for him moving forward.

It was a return 10 years in the making and Lashley is back in the saddle again in the WWE looking to make a bigger impact this time around.
