5. Bayley

This whole Sasha/Bayley angle should have been a much bigger deal than how it has been presented until now. The moment Sasha turned on Bayley during the Chamber match, I was hoping for a spectacular, epic breakup. But the program has been a roller coaster of ups and downs. Them trying to make up for their issues was a down. But the locker room brawl was a big positive. And not having a match to tell their story at Mania was a huge down.

So this week, Bayley was yet again in Banks’s corner as the Boss took on Mandy Rose. Needless to say, The Boss’s former-but-maybe-still best friend played into the finish and ended up costing her a win. We now know there will be a match between these two next week. Now here’s why I think Bayley will move to SmackDown Live. Regardless of the outcome of her match with Banks, she really doesn’t have anything else to do on Monday nights.

Rather, she could benefit from moving to SmackDown Live and starting fresh. In return, Becky Lynch could most likely be moved to the red brand to freshen up things. Moreover, given the history between Banks and the new Champion Nia Jax, there is scope for a title feud, with the face and heel rolls reversed this time around.

Bayley can continue what she does on Tuesday nights and hopefully rebuild her career. A fresh set of opponents, ranging from Natalya and Carmella to the reigning champion Charlotte would be a nice start.
