3. The Miz
The moment Daniel Bryan was cleared, we all thought about this. The possibility of building on what started almost a year ago. The Miz unleashed his fury on Bryan in a seething promo, igniting much speculation about a potential showdown between the two. However, nothing came to fruition due to Bryan’s concussion issues.
But things have changed now. There is hope for a potential match and the payoff itself is tremendous to resist this idea. But the idea of Miz moving back to SmackDown either voluntarily or due to the authority figures asking him seems far-fetched. Something else might be in the works though. We will see more about that in yet another post.
The Miz has invoked his rematch clause for the Intercontinental Championship at the upcoming Backlash PPV. Seeing as it is a co-branded PPV, I doubt whether he would be a part of the Blue Brand by then and might actually look to carry the title over to Tuesday nights. If he were to succeed in doing so and then feud with Bryan over the title, I am all in for the idea.
Will the Miz make the jump? What will become of the Miztourage then?
