2. Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy returned to action this week, assisting the new IC champion Seth Rollins and Finn Balor to even the odds against the Miz and the Miztourage. The former tag team champion’s return was met with immediate questions in my mind. Would he turn into Brother Nero? Will he team up with Broken Matt Hardy? What about Bray Wyatt then?

I have my answers now. In a brief backstage segment, Matt met with his brother and said “I am glad you got over your Broken condition,” which was a nice subtle wordplay to say the least. But for now, I think Bray would play the role of Brother Nero in the WWE. It was nice to see him continue to have his own supernatural elements, despite being “cleansed” of Sister Abigail.

As for Jeff Hardy, a move to the Blue Brand would be wise if he is indeed not going to be a part of the Woken universe. He can mix it up with the likes of Nakamura, Styles and Orton and set on his own while his brother sets out on an expedition of gold. Then, when the time is right, creative can reunite the brothers in Woken fashion or have them interlinked always, through storylines and pre-shot segments.
