1. The Authors Of Pain
If this happens, it will be surprising to say the least. AOP made their debut last night, making quick work of Heath Slater and Rhyno. They will surely put the tag division on notice. It was strange to see them apparently settle their business with Paul Ellering, but understandable. The travel schedule of main roster talent could take too much a toll on his body — and he’s surely earned a vacation after such a stellar career.

If AOP were to remain on Raw, sooner or later they will be done squashing the other tag teams and will have to move on to the title picture, just like the Bludgeon Brothers did. While that is a successful formula, there is one piece of the puzzle that is hard to place. Wyatt and Hardy have just formed a tag team and they seem like a major priority to the creative team.
They could most certainly defeat the Revival next week and the Bar later to claim the tag team titles. As such, if they do manage to do that, a lengthy title reign needs to happen. AOP doesn’t fall into the picture in that sense. A move to Tuesday nights however, will be very exciting. The Bludgeon Brothers have essentially ran rampant through the entire division.
Elite teams like the Usos and the New Day fell to Harper and Rowan on the Grandest Stage of Them All. They need some new challengers. The debuting Authors of Pain seem like a good match for them in every sense of the word. Akam and Razor and intimidating silent predators and have a savage arsenal of moves that can match the Bludgeon Brothers.
