WWE Superstar Shakeup: Could Bayley Or Sasha Banks Switch Brands?

Bayley and Sasha have created an interesting feud over the past couple of months, but will they be on separate brands following the Superstar Shakeup?

Bayley and Sasha are two Superstars that are at the forefront of this ongoing Women’s Evolution in WWE. Their iron woman match that main evented an NXT TakeOver took women’s wrestling to a whole new level, and they have only gotten better since then.

Ever since Bayley joined her fellow Four Horsewomen on the main roster, Sasha and Bayley have been booked as best friends that have each other’s backs. However, tensions started to boil over the duo as one would betray the other in order to get a leg up on the competition.

Sasha betrayed Bayley in both the Elimination Chamber match and Royal Rumble match. This led Bayley to have trust issues and abandoned Sasha during beatdowns and tag team matches on Raw. They eventually had a physical altercation in the locker room to build for a future match.

The tension was building right around WrestleMania time, so many fans expected and wanted to see a blowoff match at WrestleMania. Instead, both women were thrown into the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal that neither won.

So, you would expect these two to at least have a match on the Backlash card instead, right? Well, for now, they are going to have their blowoff match on an episode of Raw, which has a lot of people questioning why the feud has been built up so much.

Well, with the Superstar Shakeup just around the corner, this may be WWE’s last chance to capitalize on this feud if Sasha or Bayley move to SmackDown Live. This would be a great way to showcase these women in a Raw main event and solidify a heel turn for one as they get split up during the Shakeup.

OR, this could just be the beginning of their feud. While tension has been boiling over between the two, neither has shown signs of a full fledged heel yet. Perhaps, this is just a match to show a heel turn by Sasha or Bayley. Then we get the final blowoff match at Backlash or somewhere else down the line.

If I were to guess, I would say that Sasha is going to turn heel on Monday after not being able to beat Bayley clean. This should lead to a Backlash match between the two, but I think it will be built through social media and promos because it may be time for Bayley to switch brands.

With the Riott Squad, The IIconics, and Carmella all on top on SmacDown Live, the blue brand needs some fresh faces to rival them, and Bayley is perfect for the role. Meanwhile, Sasha’s newfound mean streak could get her into feuds with the likes of Ember Moon or the current Raw Women’s Champion, Nia Jax.

The sky is the limit for these two after their feud and the Superstar Shakeup. Bayley should get a fresh start on the blue brand while The Boss taps into that dark side to climb back to the top of the women’s division on Raw.
