Becoming a world champion in the WWE suggests that you have hit the pinnacle of sports entertainment, but the reality is there are many superstars that won’t reach that plateau in the current landscape of the WWE.

The WWE is filled with some of the best pro wrestlers in the world, but despite how great certain stars might be, it’s unlikely they will become a world champion on the brand they’re currently on.

With the superstar shakeup taking place on this week’s Raw and SmackDown, several superstars could really use a changing of the guard.  With that being said, let’s take a look at three superstars that need a brand switch in order to win a world title.

3. The Miz

One of the most underrated, yet important WWE superstars in recent memory has been The Miz.  The A-Lister hasn’t always gotten the amount of respect he deserves in his decade-plus long career in the WWE, but he has more than proven his worth over the years.

Miz has been particularly impressive over the past two years or so since the initial brand split in 2016 and has helped elevate the Intercontinental Championship into a prominent position again.  But one thing that has eluded The Miz during his career breakthrough over the past two years has been a world title.

Whether he’s been on SmackDown or Raw, The Miz hasn’t tasted world championship gold.  In fact, he hasn’t been a world champion since 2011 in his lone reign as the WWE Champion.  The A-Lister has been consistently great over the past couple years especially, so will he ever get a chance to be a world champion again?

As a current member of the Raw roster, it just doesn’t seem like it’s in the cards for The Miz to become the Universal Champion.  So, his best bet to become a world champion again is heading back to Tuesday nights to potentially become the WWE Champion for the second time.  Miz has done so much for the WWE over the years, so it feels more than appropriate to give him another world title run.

The A-Lister hasn’t tasted world title gold in seven years and it’s time that hiatus comes to an end, even if it requires a switch to the blue brand.
