2. Samoa Joe

Arguably no superstar in the WWE has had luck as bad as what Samoa Joe has dealt with over the past several months.  After developing into a main event player in the summer of 2017, Joe has dealt with two separate injuries that have kept him out of action, including missing WrestleMania 34.

But now that The Samoan Submission Machine is back, it’s time to push him back in the main event picture on Monday nights, right?  If only it was that simple.  For as great as Joe has been over the past year, it’s hard to tell when or if the WWE will put him back in the Universal Championship picture on Raw.

Joe can make anything work because he’s that gifted of a talent, but if he wants to rejoin the world title picture, it might have to come on Tuesday nights.  The WWE Championship picture has a bright future with AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura leading the charge currently, but after that feud ends, Joe could be a perfect superstar to join the fold.

And given the past history between Joe and Styles, who wouldn’t want to see a feud between those two for the WWE Championship?  Joe vs. Nakamura would be awesome to see as well.  It’s not a given that Joe couldn’t get back in the Universal Championship picture on Raw, but it feels like he’d have much better odds of winning the big one on SmackDown.

He’s one of the best the WWE has to offer and Samoa Joe would fair better in his quest to win a world title on Tuesday nights.
