WWE Raw 5 Predictions: Charlotte Flair Returns To The Red Brand
Charlotte Flair Moves To Raw
When Charlotte Flair was on Monday Night Raw, she owned the land, and her feud with Sasha Banks was a huge reason why the show was able to succeed in late 2016 when the brand split first started. The Universal Championship picture was rather boring, the United States Championship picture was non-existent, and The New Day were busy milking every ounce out of their record-breaking reign.
Meanwhile, Charlotte and Sasha were putting on excellent Raw matches nearly every week, putting it all on the line when they were in the ring together. Bayley, of course, was the female superstar who received the most elevation from Charlotte, defeating her for the title on Raw and later successfully defending it at both Fastlane and WrestleMania 33.
The timing of Charlotte losing the SmackDown Women’s Championship is both interesting and makes it seem rather clear that she will be heading to Raw. It isn’t always ideal to have the person who defeats an undefeated streak immediately drop the title, but Charlotte didn’t exactly lose it under circumstances that made her look weak. Furthermore, Carmella was elevated while simultaneously clearing Charlotte to go back to the brand where she reigned supreme as a genetically superior heel.
It will be a bit strange seeing Charlotte and Rousey on the same brand if they are to have a WrestleMania 35 clash, but I believe the WWE will pull the trigger on the athletically gifted Charlotte moving back to Raw.
