Bobby Lashley Feuds With Baron Corbin

I like to be bold and stupid, and this is kind of two predictions in one. Baron Corbin seems to be headed to Raw after spending the last two draft/shakeup periods on SmackDown Live. He is one of the most agile big men in the company and shines in multi-man matches, and while he still is a work in progress as a character and a promo, he is legitimately good at generating heat from the audience as a throwback, stoic heel.

Corbin would be an ideal first opponent for Bobby Lashley. Even though the company positions him as a rising star, Corbin wouldn’t be damaged by losing to someone of Lashley’s caliber. In order for Lashley to be established as a main event player and depicted as the type of talent that he clearly is after having become one of the best in the world at Impact Wrestling, he needs to defeat a serious competitor as his first opponent in WWE. Elias is over as a heel and is fine, but Corbin is a bigger deal for Lashley.

The match(es) (ideally they should have one big PPV match and that’s it, but you know how WWE usually is with these things) themselves would be excellent, and I could see the duo working well together. Both of them are incredibly strong and athletic with legitimate combat sports backgrounds, and that could easily play into this match.
