Dolph Ziggler Moves To WWE Raw With Drew McIntyre, Shocks Everyone

Dolph Ziggler started his time with SmackDown Live brightly with his incredible feud with The Miz over the Intercontinental Championship. But things quickly soured after he lost the feud and turned heel. Now, though, Ziggler is on Raw as part of the WWE Superstar Shakeup 2018, and he didn’t come alone. In a huge shock, he joined Raw alongside Drew McIntyre.

Monday Night Raw may have received a huge upgrade during WWE Superstar Shakeup 2018, as Dolph Ziggler moved to the Red Brand after toiling on SmackDown Live. Ziggler’s record scratch hit, and he was immediately interrupted by Titus Worldwide, who tried to recruit the “multi-platform superstar”.

Ziggler, however, wasn’t interested, because he already created his own team. The Show-Off has joined Raw with Drew McIntyre, who was most recently the NXT Champion before dropping the title to Andrade “Cien” Almas at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. During that match, McIntyre tore his bicep, but he’s finally made his return and has immediately debuted on Raw.

It’s a big spot for McIntyre, and while most fans wanted to see him called up on his own, a brief tag team run with Ziggler could be awesome. McIntyre and Ziggler showed some serious edge tonight, and this is the kind of tag team that can help bring Dolph back to prominence after over a year of doing nothing on SmackDown Live. He did win the United States Championship and relinquished it on his own accord in a storyline that could have been interesting, but it ended up going nowhere (as per usual).

Based on the “Holy S***!” chants by the live audience on Raw, hopefully this alliance between McIntyre and Ziggler actually does have legs to it. These two can put on insane matches together, since they are two of the best wrestlers in the world. McIntyre will likely turn on Dolph and go over on him at some point, since he’s a main event player and could be one of the top guys in the company if the WWE decides to roll with a man they once called “The Chosen One” during his first stint with them.

But in the meantime, Ziggler will also make a big splash with McIntyre by his side, and this move to Raw could help him out immensely. I mean, people have said this about Ziggler before, but, at least in the short-term, this could be different, since Ziggler is seemingly in a legit tag team with a major player in McIntyre.
