Hideo Itami and Akira Tozawa Vs Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik
Result: Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik Won with a Shooting Star Press and Elbow Drop
Grade: B
This mini-feud between the team of Itami and Tozawa, and the luchador team of Kalisto, Dorado, and Metalik has given us some great matches over the last month or so, and this was one was easily their finest yet.
Working under tornado tag rules, this match was suitably chaotic and featured some excellent spots.Having Itami and Tozawa play the heels for the match, trying to rip off their opponent’s masks was a nice touch, and the near falls and high spots were all very exciting.
The action was fast paced, and the ending, which saw Dorado and Metalik hit their finishers and pin their opponents at the same time, provided the match with a nice visual. This felt like the final match in their feud, but with the tag titles likely to be introduced very soon, don’t expect to have seen the last of this rivalry. Kalisto joined his team-mates to celebrate after the match, which would have been fine had he not felt the need to come out and do that stupid floss dance.

Next week’s show will see a new Number 1 contender crowned for the Cruiserweight championship in what should be a thrilling gauntlet match. No word yet on who is involved, but it should be fun if it is given plenty of time. This week’s show had a fairly average opening half, but the closing match was probably the best match on WWE television so far this week.
