WWE: Early Tips To Travelers Of WrestleMania 35

WWE WrestleMania 34 is now in the books, and yes it is already time to look ahead to WrestleMania 35.  Here are some tips to ensure the best WrestleMania experience possible.

Make Sure To Book Your Hotel First

Most fans who will be flocking to the New York area will not be staying in the Northern New Jersey area, but instead New York City.  Unless you have plans of sitting in the first row or flying cross country first class, this will be the most expensive part of your budget.

A lot of fans wait until they have officially secured their ticket to WrestleMania to worry about travel and hotel stay.  MetLife Stadium has the capacity to seat over 80,000 fans, you are not in danger of missing the biggest show of the year, book the hotel first instead of browsing the internet for last second deals.

Arrive As Early In The Week As Possible

The fun of arriving to a destination as early as possible is the WWE superstars and wrestlers from other promotions are also getting to the location early.  With independent wrestling shows, signings, the Hall of Fame, and WrestleMania approaching you are more likely to spot your favorite wrestler in town on Wednesday or Thursday than the weekend.

Yes, New York City is huge, but there will also be hundreds of wrestlers and legends doing the same sightseeing as you.  By just being active around the city on Wednesday and Thursday you will be sure to see a few familiar faces from your television set.

Also any fan that has ever been in the WrestleMania Superstore knows that it is first come first serve.  You can go from having your pick of the lot on Thursday to just trying to find shirts in your size on Saturday.

Raw Tickets Are More In Demand Than WrestleMania Tickets

If you need to sit in a dead center section or a few rows from the ring then yes, WrestleMania is the hotter ticket.  What makes WWE Raw the night after WrestleMania so high in demand is simply the venue shrinking from a football stadium to a hockey or basketball arena.

Yet, foreign travelers, local fans, and cross country fans stay through Monday meaning there is usually a lot less tickets available for Raw with close to the same demand of WrestleMania.  Make sure you know when the Raw presale is or are prepared to jump on early resale tickets on StubHub.

This is not the show that you want to wait a few weeks before to get tickets.

Know How Much Wrestling Is Too Much Wrestling

I know, too much wrestling?!  Please.  Yet each year there are more festivities around WrestleMania than the year prior.  What we saw this past year thanks to stacked shows Friday and Saturday, and also an entertaining WrestleMania, the crowd did not have the same endurance on the Raw after WrestleMania as in previous years.

We all love wrestling, but sometimes there can be too much of a good thing.  WrestleMania is a marathon event that grouped with events prior and after can be an exhausting task.

If you have completed a Friday to Tuesday WrestleMania weekend schedule then my hat is off to you.  For the others, maybe take a night off.

Plan Your Bathroom Breaks

There are plenty of stories throughout the years of fans missing big moments due to being stuck in bathroom lines.  First off you should prioritize what matches you want to see.

What about missing big moments in a match or a big return?  While there is no guarantee ever that you won’t miss one of these moments, you should be prepared to get up as soon as a match ends.

That sounds like common sense, but you would not believe the number of fans who stay in their seat to watch the 30 seconds to minute of post-match celebration before getting up to go to the bathroom.  Unless CM Punk and Hulk Hogan are going to magically appear with Flo Rida for a post-match celebration there really is no need to stick around while the bathroom line extends.
