WWE Raw Power Rankings: Braun Strowman Flattens Competition
By Bryan Heaton
4. Elias
A huge victory over Bobby Roode on this week’s Raw would be a big deal regardless of any other circumstances. Roode is a newcomer to Raw, and you’d guess that he’d be the one going over so early in his tenure with the brand. But instead, Elias got some revenge for the Glorious One interrupting his pre-match concert — albeit in a shady manner.
But why does that give Elias such a high ranking? Top 5, seriously? Well, for the duration of his match, the commentary team kept referring to Elias as a “main eventer.” I don’t know if he’s truly at that point yet, but with the thinning of the heel herd, he’s one of the best there is left on Raw. We’ll see how long it takes for Elias to truly get into the main event, but keep in mind he’s got a victory over John Cena, as well. He’s definitely going places.
3. Seth Rollins
As of this writing, the Intercontinental Championship is probably the most prestigious on Raw. The Universal Title is never really around, you know? And with Seth Rollins not only appearing every week, but pretty much having a match every week, too, there’s no reason that trend won’t continue.
Rollins is one of the most talented individuals on the roster, and he’s holding championship gold. He’s got a prime match at the Greatest Royal Rumble, and he’s smack in the middle of a decent storyline. Any questions?
