WWE Raw Power Rankings: Braun Strowman Flattens Competition
By Bryan Heaton
18. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
You can yell and scream until you’re blue in the face that Owens and Zayn deserve to be ranked higher. And that’s fine, I’ll listen to your arguments. But there’s a few things that stand out to me that basically force my hand and keep them low to start off this list. First and foremost, they’re nowhere near contending for any championships at the moment. In a business where the main goal is to ultimately be a champion, these two have resigned themselves to fighting with their bosses on both shows they’ve been on. Not the best career move.
Also, they got trucked in a tag team match by two guys who have little experience teaming together. While one is a former Raw Tag Team Champ, you would think lifelong friends would have a unity advantage in the ring. But alas, it isn’t the case.
17. Bobby Roode
Welcome to Raw, oh glorious one. Here’s a match against Elias that you’re going to lose due to shenanigans!
Roode is a wrestling veteran, even if his WWE career has been short. He is a former champion on the main roster, though. Through all of those accomplishments, you’d think he’d be smart enough to see certain things coming. But nope, couldn’t see the shortcut Elias would take to earn a victory, and Roode starts off his Raw career on a down note.
