12. Roman Reigns

11. Brock Lesnar

This one is kind of a package deal, and it may surprise a bunch of you because of the numbers art the top of the page. How can I sit here with a straight face and tell you that the Universal Champion — holding ostensibly the greatest prize on Raw — and his number one challenger and long time rival can’t even crack the Top 10?

Simply put, too much fatigue with the feud. The beginning of their war goes back to 2015, when Reigns won the Royal Rumble and earned a WrestleMania match against Lesnar with the WWE Championship on the line. It was seen as the inevitable coronation of Roman Reigns to “top guy” status — only it didn’t happen.

Since Lesnar won the Universal Championship last year, everyone had Reigns pegged as the guy who would end Brock’s reign at WrestleMania 34 — only it didn’t happen.

Whatever the reason behind the decision (poor crow reaction, a desire to stretch the story out further, a desire to have a major title change on the Saudi Arabia show), we’re now weeks past WrestleMania, and the same song is playing on the record player. It’s like finishing a book, but rereading the last chapter for another month because you didn’t like the ending, and you’re hoping for something different the next time around.

And neither guy has really brought anything new to the table, either. Lesnar didn’t even show up until this week, and Reigns has been repeating the same talking points ad nauseam. Brock gets the slight edge for actually being the champion, but honestly, I’m beyond done with their story and just want it to be over.
