WWE Women’s Tag Division: Potential teams and factions

Bayley and Charlotte

Looking back at the WWE 4 Horsewomen, Bayley and Charlotte never had their moment together. Charlotte and Banks competed against each other for the NXT and WWE title. Becky Lynch and Charlotte did the same when they were on Smackdown. However, Bayley and Charlotte have not had that moment together. Putting them together would give them the opportunity to shine in the spotlight as the first women’s tag team titles.

Plus, this creates a team that can immediately face off against the recommended team of Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey. Remember, they’ve shared the screen together briefly and we are all certain that there’s a payoff planned at some point in the future. Creating a tag team battle with these four women allows the WWE to hide Rousey and Baszler’s in-ring development with two veterans that have proven they can put on great matches against anyone.

Also, don’t forget the idea of how Bayley and Charlotte can play off of each other long term. There’s a viable feud that can be booked between the two. Imagine the storyline of Bayley being jealous of Charlotte for always having the limelight, creating a heel turn that would catch everyone off guard. To get there, having them compete together and win the tag team titles is a step in the right direction.
