10: Tony Nese
While Tony Nese has not picked up too many notable victories on 205 Live this month, his performance in the number 1 contender gauntlet match, and his on-going feud with Drew Gulak have kept him relevant and his rivalry with his former friend will no doubt see him get more time on the roster in May.
Nese is slowly developing his character, and his in-ring work is nothing if not consistent. While he may not be immediately inline for a title shot, his stock looks like it will continue to rise in the coming weeks, and he was even given a surprise entrance in the Greatest Royal Rumble match, which is his biggest performance in the WWE to date.
9: Hideo Itami
Hideo Itami, along with his tag team partner, Akira Tozawa, has spent the last month embroiled in a feud with the Luchador team of Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik, with the occasional involvement of Kalisto.
While Itami has not been victorious in any of his outings this last month, his matches have often been one of the highlights of the show, and the continuing feud between the men looks as though it will culminate in one of the teams being crowned the brand’s first ever tag team champions. His tag team match against Dorado and Metalik on the April 17th edition of the show was a particular highlight, with Itami and Tozawa excelling in a slightly more heelish role in the feud.
