1. The Miz Gets Involved
The Miz looks like he has his own hands full at Backlash this Sunday as he is taking on Seth Rollins and is hoping to reclaim the Intercontinental Championship for a record tying ninth time.
However, with The US Championship already on SmackDown, I doubt that another midcard title will be coming to the blue brand after Backlash. So, I fully expect Rollins to retain and a frustrated Miz to come out empty handed.
So, with The Miz losing his precious prize and no longer having another chance at it now that they are on two separate brands, he is going to lash out later on during the PPV. His focus? Well, it’d be none other than his arch nemesis Daniel Bryan.
The two are destined to collide eventually in a feud that has seemingly been building ever since Daniel Bryan debuted as The Miz’s rookie. However, things really took off after The Miz delivered this fiery promo against the then GM on an episode of Talking Smack after he was accused of wrestling like a coward:
Now that Daniel Bryan is cleared and The Miz is on SmackDown, we can finally see these two go at it, and the wheels are already in motion. Daniel Bryan requested for Miz’s move over to the blue brand to give him a good face punching, while The Miz banned Bryan from Miz TV due to being a no show when he go attacked by Big Cass backstage.
Now, Big Cass will simply be a pawn in The Miz’s conniving and cowardly plan of attacking Daniel Bryan. I’d expect The Miz’s music to hit mid match and maybe he’ll show up to distract Daniel Bryan. Then, Big Cass can hit the Big Boot and get the win over Daniel.

Of course, The Miz wouldn’t physically get involved in the match because, well, he wrestles like a coward.
