With the US title around his waist, Almas could then find himself being confronted by The Viper, leading to several match-ups between the pair. Orton is in need of a fresh and interesting program, and this could be exactly what he needs right now, and the feud rights itself, with Almas playing the brash young newcomer disrespecting the old guard on SmackDown, and Orton stepping up to shut him up. Almas is an excellent in-ring performer as well, and could finally get a few decent matches out of The Viper, who has been on a decline in the ring ever since his Royal Rumble victory in 2017.

The two could even exchange victories in an extended program, as a defeat to Orton would not damage Almas, providing he came out as the victor at the end of the feud. Orton has put several talents over in the last year, notably, Jinder Mahal, and it’s about time the company put his star-power to good use.

This would really set Almas up as a potential main eventer on the blue brand. In spite of Orton’s declining quality, he is still considered one of the top guys in the WWE, and if Almas could get the better of him, he would probably be ready to move up into a main event spot on Tuesday nights.
