WWE Backlash 2018 hits the WWE Network and pay per view this Sunday, May 6, from Newark, NJ. What does the card for the show look like?

WWE embarks on a new journey starting with WWE Backlash 2018. Moving forward, there will be no more brand exclusive pay per view events. Every show will feature superstars from the Raw brand as well as the SmackDown brand. It opens up a ton of new possibilities for how pay per views will be booked. If and how that happens, though, remains to be seen.

For now, there’s a full card of nine matches — eight on the main show, and one on the Kickoff Show. The likeliest main event is a WWE Championship match, for a couple of reasons. One, the story has set it up as main event worthy match. And two, it’s a no disqualification affair, so things should be pretty wild.

The cross-brand encounters are also interesting to watch. Will the Intercontinental Championship head to SmackDown Live? Can The Big Dog silence his fiercest critic once and for all? You have to watch the show to find out.

So let’s get right to it. Per WWE.com, here’s what the card for WWE Backlash 2018 looks like:
