The Lucha Underground and Impact Partnership is Showcased

This Lucha Underground, Impact Wrestling cooperation has been awesome for bringing in talent to Thursday nights.  Fans were in for a treat in the form of a six match tag team match under lucha libre rules.  Aerostar, Drago, and El Hijo de Fantasma team up to battle DJ Z, Dezmond Xavier, and Andrew Everett.  This would be an awesome showcase of the X-Division between some mainstays and some newcomers.

As Fantasma and Xavier start the match, the athleticism is shown early.  This match was fast and furious and all over the place.  There was so much high flying by these teams as it is a show of who can do it better between these teams.  Fantasma slowed down the pace and cuts off the ring with Everett in the wrong corner.  As the pace pace begins to quicken, the match shift back into Impact Wrestling’s favor.

DJ Z and Andrew Everett took out Aerostar but Fantasma again brought to match back into pace.  Both teams lock in submissions that left the referee confused int he middle of the ring.  Xavier all along with Drago, Aerostar, and Fantasma.  Everett and DJ Z break it up and the aerial attack starts again.  The pace begins to quicken again as a triple dive almost ends it a two triple pins but nothing can end this ridiculous match.  Just when fans thought it would never end, a ZDT from the top rope would allow DJ Z, Everett, and Xavier to be victorious.
