2. Seth Rollins (last week: 1)

The Kingslayer may not have held on to the top spot this week, but he didn’t fall too far. Rollins is on the roll of a lifetime, pretty much since he and Jason Jordan dropped the Raw Tag Team Titles. He’s turned into a great match factory, no matter who his opponent has been. And the crowd eats it up week in, week out.

Because he doesn’t rest on his laurels, Rollins became proactive this week and instituted a weekly open challenge for the Intercontinental Championship. It’s a great move, and is sure to keep him somewhere near the top of the rankings on a weekly basis. Just look at the quality of the match against Mojo Rawley this week. If he does that every week, we’re in for a treat.

1. Finn Balor (last week: 3)

Is he over yet?

Finn Balor vaults over Strowman and Rollins to take the top spot this week. Hey, winning a banging triple threat match to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match will do that for you. And winning a match that literally everyone thought would be won by Roman Reigns? Congrats, Finn, you just won Smark Bingo!

I will say this: I miss the Demon. I get what may be some reasons for unofficially dropping it, but it was still something cool that changed the pace a bit. Now, Finn’s lost the Demon, he’s lost Gallows and Anderson. A guy fighting from behind is a way to build support for said guy. Finn never got his rematch for the Universal Championship, either. Now he’s got a chance to get closer to that rematch.
