20. Mojo Rawley (last week: unranked)

The former Hype Bro was the first man up in the new Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge. It’s a great spot for Mojo, who clearly has skills. There’s tremendous upside in him, so chances in big spots could be huge for his development.

It wasn’t necessarily the best match of the night, but Rawley and Seth Rollins did what was necessary to entertain the crowd. Mojo showed off his promo skills (including what I’m assuming was improv in response to the crowd chanting about Zack Ryder). It was just one night, but a string of these kinds of showings from Rawley will lead to big things.

19. Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel (last week: unranked)

A couple of weeks of haha jokey jokes with the former Miztourage gave way to a new focus for the former Social Outcasts. This week, Dallas and Axel were serious and focused on the task at hand in the ring. (Okay, so they were still a little jokey backstage, eh, eh, eeeeeeehhhhh?)

They weren’t successful — going up against the tag team champions doesn’t usually spell success. But a change in theme music and a change in attitude are signs that things may be turning around for the Axe Man and Bo-Liever. And I think many in the WWE Universe wouldn’t mind seeing more of these two, with their bloodlines and natural talent.
