WWE Raw Power Rankings: Finn Balor Stands OVER All Competition
By Bryan Heaton
6. Jinder Mahal (last week: 14)
Some might say this is too high for Jinder, but I stand by it because he’s about to be a main event talent again. Say what you want about his actual ability level, but just based on look, he’s an intimidating force. Why wouldn’t that guy get to be a major player in WWE?
Not only did Jinder Mahal get some revenge on Chad Gable for his loss from two weeks ago, but the Maharaja also played hero in the main event. Well, in the eyes of the fans — Mahal contributed to Reigns not scoring a pinfall, giving Finn Balor the chance to win the match. With Reigns and Mahal about to throw down, it’s a big time for both.
5. Ruby Riott (last week: 15)
Another superstar making a big jump is Ruby Riott. Last week, I said she had a great match, and one I thought was best of the night. But I felt I couldn’t rank her too high because at that point it was the first match of such magnitude since joining Raw, and without too much of a body of work on the program to begin with.
Well, since that point, she had a good match with Bayley on the Backlash Kickoff Show, and then participated in the stellar Money in the Bank qualifier. Though unsuccessful in winning, she arguably had one of the best performances in the match. There’s clearly a lot more great things to come for Riott and the Riott Squad.
