2. Mandy Rose vs. Becky Lynch

Absolution was a trio that had a lot of promise to make a major statement in the WWE.  But with the retirement of leader Paige, the group never had much of a chance to get going and led each of its members to a new path in the WWE.

Paige became the SmackDown GM and Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville joined the SmackDown brand as well.  Many believed Paige would play favorites with Rose and Deville given how they were in the same group not long ago, but Paige has not done that and even banned Deville from ringside during Rose’s match with Becky Lynch last night.

Rose vs. Lynch definitely didn’t get as much time or focus as the rest of the matches last night, and it showed.  There was very little to no substance in this match and it just felt like they were running around for three minutes.  But in the end, Rose got the win which should help her out, but it also continues the trend of Lynch losing matches.

It should be interesting to see how Rose and Deville do on the blue brand and if the two will even stay together in the first place.  It should also be interesting to see where Lynch goes from here as well because she has been in a poor state as of late, losing almost every match she’s had.  Maybe the WWE has something up its sleeve with her, who knows.

Future plans aside, Rose vs. Lynch last night was not very good and just felt like a filler match on a show filled with several impressive matches.
