WWE Money in the Bank 2018 Match Card Predictions Version 1.0

Nia Jax (c) vs. Ruby Riott For The Raw Women’s Championship

There isn’t a single superstar who has a better case for being Nia Jax’s next challenger for the Raw Women’s Championship than Ruby Riott. She’s taken full advantage of the friction between Sasha Banks and Bayley, defeating both of them recently. Riott failed to qualify for the Money in the Bank match, as Ember Moon won the Triple Threat match that also included Banks.

However, Riott’s inability to qualify for the ladder match merely clears her schedule to pursue Jax’s title. Although it would be nice for Jax to remain the Raw Women’s Champion, I feel that her days at the top are numbered.

Jax has defeated Alexa Bliss convincingly on Pay Per View twice, so it’s time for her to have a new challenger. Since Riott defeated two former Raw Women’s Champions in Bayley and Banks, she is the wrestler on the Red Brand who has done the most to earn a title opportunity. And given how tremendous she’s been in the ring since being called up from NXT, I expect her to win the title and be an awesome heel champion with Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan supporting her.

All three members of the Riott Squad are quietly coming into their own, so a title win would cement their status as the trio that Banks and Bayley must work together to take down.
