WWE Money in the Bank 2018 Match Card Predictions Version 1.0
Men’s Money in the Bank Match
Braun Strowman vs. Finn Balor vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Elias vs. Rusev vs. The Miz vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. Big E
Last year, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Baron Corbin delivered an exceptionally good ladder match, but this year’s bout may be even better.
I tried to go a little outside-the-box with picking the field here. After losing his feud to Bobby Roode, Elias is a sneaky pick here. I’d love the crowd dynamic with him in this match, and a nice tease of Elias winning the whole thing would be quite fantastic.
Roman Reigns shouldn’t be anywhere near this match. The Money in the Bank briefcase doesn’t suit his character, and while he would be awesome in this match, I just don’t see it working out. Jinder Mahal’s awful match against Jeff Hardy at the Greatest Royal Rumble has some fans worried about his ability to work a ladder match, but, in fairness to Jinder, his matches with Hardy and Chad Gable on Raw were solid. More importantly, Jinder is so easy to hate that he’d be the perfect heel as a foil to the others in this match.
I’d love to see Andrade “Cien” Almas in this match, and he and Rusev are huge sleepers to win this match. Big E, too. I mean, could you imagine the New Day branching off into singles competition while still remaining a tag team? Oh, and better yet…think of the segments with them and the briefcase!

While Almas and Rusev would be smart picks, the WWE should go with the predictable option here in The Miz. He should become the second person – CM Punk being the first –to win a Money in the Bank ladder match, and he should cash in on Bryan to start their feud. It writes itself.
Prediction: The Miz
