1. Why was Samoa Joe absent on Tuesday?
Joe was nowhere to be seen on Tuesday night. It can be understood that he might be allowed to cool off and come back with more momentum after his loss to Reigns at Backlash. After all, Joe failed to deliver on his promise that he would finally put down the Big Dog. Regardless, there is something else that Joe had promised.
The week before, he had warned AJ Styles that once he and Nakamura settle their scores at Backlash, Joe was coming for the champion. It was a stern warning to whoever the WWE champion would be after Backlash. As it stands, Styles and Nakamura are from done at this point in time and they might collide once more at Money in the Bank.
But where does that leave Joe? Will he try to inject himself into the title scene, kicking off a dream triple threat feud that could send us all into a frenzy? Or will Joe just try to go for the briefcase on his own?
