Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz

Anyone who’s followed the long career of Daniel Bryan knows this feud needs to happen. Before Bryan was put on the injured list, this feud needed to happen. The two have clashed in a few matches in the past, but they need a full-on feud between them. Bryan was taken in by the A-Lister during his time in NXT, and now it’s time that the Miz cashes in that mentoring.

It could start out after Bryan wins a title. It’s a great way to build his momentum back up, and could take him a step closer to bigger things, like WWE Championship contention. Bryan’s celebrating, and the A-Lister’s music hits. He comes out congratulating Bryan on his win, but wants him to remember that it was his mentoring that crafted Bryan into the superstar he is today. Of course, Bryan would say that his training on the independent circuit was what got him to where he is, and a feud is born.

The Miz can easily come out and interfere with Bryan’s matches just like any heel would. Finally, Bryan would get fed up and demand a match with him. The Miz might accept, but only if Bryan puts a title on the line. They fight, Miz plays dirty, and Bryan loses the belt. The Universe is up-in-arms, but Bryan takes to the microphone to tell them to not worry. He uses the loss as a way to make a new goal for himself: a WWE Championship. Then that would prove without a doubt that he’s surpassed the Miz. WWE could even revisit this feud if/when Bryan wins a bigger title down the road.
