18. Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt (last week: 14)

The best word to describe the current Raw Tag Team Champions? Stale. It pains me to say it, but if it weren’t for The Revival or Heath Slater and Rhyno, Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt would be the least interesting tag team on Monday nights. Crazy, right? Think of how good that pairing could have and should have been.

But since winning the vacant championships a few weeks ago, there’s been precisely zero development of the duo as a team. Wyatt fell in the Lake of Reincarnation, was cleansed, and now is woken? Great, what’s the next step? Oh, standing ovations when Hardy calls for one? Yeesh. Something needs to happen to continue moving their story forward, rather than maintaining status quo.

17. Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel (last week: 19)

On the other side of the coin, the newly-christened “B Team” — B FOR BEST — is one of the more interesting teams on Raw. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel have been background players in WWE for some time now, first as Social Outcasts and more recently as The Miztourage. But with The Miz heading to SmackDown, the lackeys have a chance to run with the ball themselves.

And hey, so far so good. After being rejected by new potential leaders, they’ve decided to go it alone together, and after a few hiccups they nabbed their first win this week. Some sweet new merch to go along with their new team identity helps put them over the edge. And a potential championship match is in their future, so Dallas and Axel are definitely on the right track.
