WWE Raw Power Rankings: Seth Rollins is Amazing on Four Continents
By Bryan Heaton
10. Ember Moon (last week: 9)
It took a little bit of time, but Ember Moon has finally become a fixture on Raw. She’s not on for a week, off for a week, dealing with all this stop and go nonsense (looking at you, Authors of Pain). And not only is Ember finally on the show regularly, she’s become one of the focus points of the women’s division very quickly. She’s got the talent to back up her positioning, and the fans seem to be into her as a performer.
As I mentioned during this week’s Raw review, I would like to see Ember slow down just a bit. She’s clearly one of the best performers in the division (and on Raw in general), and sometimes she just gets ahead of her opponents. Over time, that’ll happen less frequently, but for now it just gives a false impression of sloppiness.
9. Ronda Rousey (last week: 17)
Another episode of Raw, another week Ronda Rousey is off doing something else. This week, she was representing WWE at the NBCUniversal Upfront, along with Charlotte Flair and Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax. As mentioned above, Jax challenged Rousey to a championship match at Money in the Bank.
Because, even in her absence, Rousey was part of such a big angle, it’s only logical that she moves up quite a bit in the rankings. I still maintain that it’s way too early for her to even be considered for a title match, let alone a victory. But she’s there, and her spot at the top of the women’s division is clearly solid.
