Matt Sydal teams with Austin Aries as they go up against El Hijo de Fantasma and Pentagon Jr. The four men in this match have title match approaching in the coming weeks. Fantasma is the number one contender for the X-Division Championship that Matt Sydal holds. The history between Austin Aries and Pentagon Jr. has been well documented since Pentagon became the World Champion.
Sydal and Fantasma start the match in a preview of their upcoming X-Division Title match. The match swings back and forth early as it’s a stalemate initially. This would bring in Pentagon Jr. and Austin Aries who had just as even of a battle. It’s the mind games by Pentagon Jr. that gives him the slight advantage. The match then goes into a frenzy as the pace begins to quicken but not for long.

Pentagon begins to ground Austin Aries but no one can truly gain control in this match. Fantasma and Pentagon take out Aries then turn their attention to Matt Sydal. They have teamed in Lucha Underground before and it is obvious. Sydal would fight off them both and Aries and he use some tandem offense. Miscommunication allows Pentagon and Fantasma to fight back into this match. Sydal and Fantasma are left in the ring alone as Sydal sets up the Shooting Star Press. It is reversed into a Pentagon superkick and the Thrill of the Kill marks victory for Pentagon and Fantasma.
