WWE SmackDown 5 Predictions: Xavier Woods Is Going To MITB
5. Shinsuke Nakamura Doesn’t Name The Stipulation
Last week on SmackDown Live, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated AJ Styles in a singles match in the main event of the show, meaning that he gets to choose the stipulation for their match at Money in the Bank. This will likely be their final singles match for quite some time, and many expect Nakamura, who won the 2018 Royal Rumble, to finally take the WWE Championship from AJ Styles in his fourth title match against The Phenomenal One.
If there’s one thing Nakamura loves more than hitting Styles in the balls, it’s screwing with his opponents and the fans. Nakamura loves mind games, such as when he tells Renee Young that he “forgot” how to speak English.
I could see him pulling that card again tonight, because I don’t think he will reveal which stipulation he’s picked for the match. Nakamura will want Styles to stay on his toes by not revealing the stipulation until he absolutely must. Because Nakamura already knows what he wants the stipulation to be. On the other hand, Styles has no clue what Nakamura will say, so he only has as much time to prepare for that stipulation as Nakamura gives him.
Next: WWE's Money in the Bank Problem
Most fans expect this match to be “Last Man Standing” match, given that both competitors were still on their feet to the count of ten at Backlash after hitting each other in the nuts, or an “Ironman Match”. But it isn’t out of the question for WWE to pull something more unorthodox here, so I’m excited to see what the stipulation to be. I just don’t want it to be revealed just yet, as I like it when Nakamura plays coy.
