Big E vs. The Miz

Xavier Woods states that The New Day have an advantage heading into Money in the Bank, because their opponents don’t know who they will be facing. It sounds like they don’t plan on letting slip which of the three will be competing.

By the way, Jeff Hardy vs. Daniel Bryan in the main event of SmackDown Live is being hyped as a “first time ever match”, and WWE did the same with this impromptu match between Big E and The Miz.

Woods was tremendous on commentary, hyping up Big E’s athleticism relentlessly, and he also called the Miz “amazing” in the ring.

Big E and The Miz had a solid back-and-forth, but it was interrupted by Sheamus and Cesaro. They attacked Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston at ringside, which caused Big E to be distracted. As always, The Miz took advantage, slamming E into the canvas with a Skull Crushing Finale for a big victory.

The Bar are clearly not over their loss to The New Day, as New Day’s victory over Sheamus and Cesaro put them in a position to have one of them included in the Money in the Bank ladder match. It looks like we’ll have The Bar and The Miz against The New Day in six-man tag action next week, as per Fightful.com.

Match Rating: 2.5 out of 5.0, Woods and Kofi were awesome on commentary, and I enjoyed the back-and-forth between E and Miz.
