Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Ember Moon vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch vs. Natalya vs. Lana vs. Naomi vs. Ruby Riott

I think Ruby Riott ends up winning the Gauntlet Match on Raw to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, and I’d love to see her win. I mean, could you imagine the Riott Squad holding the briefcase? A part of me really wanted to see Sarah Logan in the match after how well she performed in the Fatal Four-Way qualifying match last week, but that match’s winner, Natalya, is an even better wrestler to have on hand for a ladder match.

Meanwhile, I was absolutely shocked to see that Lana qualified for the ladder match. On some level, I should have seen it coming, but the way in which she won (in mere seconds!) was absolutely flooring. How insane would it be if Rusev and Lana won on Lana Day?

There are several real candidates to win this match, but the two that I keep thinking of are Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss. In Bliss’s case, she was just made for the briefcase, right? She’s such a jerk, she’s so arrogant, and she always wants to take shortcuts by strategizing. That last part can be easily achieved with the briefcase in hand, and I could see her pulling out all the shady spots in order to capture that contract.

As for Becky, it would be a hell of a moment to see her towering above all the other women with the briefcase in hand. It’s been ages since we’ve seen Becky in a title match, through no fault of her own. And while she seems like the last person who needs to cash in to win a title, that briefcase could be a catalyst for a heel turn. I don’t necessarily want Becky to turn heel, but it’s an idea worth exploring.

At the end of the day, I’m sticking with Bliss as my pick, just because it’s such a hard match to predict and Bliss always seems like a safe option.
