Roman Reigns vs. Jinder Mahal

There’s basically no way Jinder Mahal wins this match, and I’m honestly perplexed why these two are feuding. In any case, the feud has actually been good so far. Roman Reigns’s brutal spear of Mahal through the wall a couple of weeks ago was brilliant, and it will be used on highlight videos on WWE’s YouTube page for years to come.

Last week, Jinder interrupted a match between Roman and and Kevin Owens, which led to a tag match that involved Roman teaming up with Seth Rollins. This tag match was well-worked, with Seth picking up the victory for his team.

Of course, the bad blood between Mahal and Reigns all started when Mahal costed Roman a Money in the Bank ladder match spot. He tripped up Roman before he could spear Sami Zayn, which allowed Zayn to hit Reigns with a Helluva Kick before Finn Balor ultimately picked up a victory. Reigns’s spear on Mahal backstage the following week was merely revenge, with Owens replacing Mahal in the qualifying match to punch his own ticket into Money in the Bank.

I don’t think Reigns and Mahal will be done after this match, and while WWE could decide to pull an upset here, it makes more sense for Roman to win in spite of Sunil Singh’s inevitable interference. This is a match that someone of Roman’s caliber needs to be winning nine times out of ten.

Prediction: Roman Reigns
