16. Alexa Bliss (last week: 16)

Initially, I thought about dropping Alexa Bliss down in the rankings this week. After all, she took a loss to Ember Moon, despite trying to use Mickie James to her advantage. Plus, the windmill arms Mickie busted out at the end of the match almost took me out of the moment with its sheer absurdity.

But then I thought back to what Bliss said before the match. She dropped a history lesson on an unsuspecting WWE Universe. Did any of you know that the Visigoths beat the Romans in olden days? I mean, I did, because I’m a giant nerd. Who would have thought you’d learn world history watching WWE Raw?

15. Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel (last week: 17)

Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, I am all aboard the B-Team train. Next stop: Title match, baby!

To be fair, there wasn’t a whole heck of a lot to the match. Breezango didn’t really get much of a chance to do anything, and Dallas and Axel are solid in the ring, but unspectacular these days. In fact, half the segment was devoted to the ridiculous victory celebration at the announce table and down the ramp.

But it’s a great feel-good story. Right now, the B-Team is showing that there’s hope for anyone. They’re a tag team Rudy with a little Miracle on Ice thrown in. Keep working, and your time will come. And how can you not root for these guys?
