Chilling Segment

We get another chilling segment involving Su Yung, Rosemary, and Allie following Rosemary’s funeral last week, when Yung set her coffin ablaze. Written on a mirror in blood is a message from Rosemary to Allie: “Don’t let the darkness consume you.” Wise, but haunting words from the “Demon” to the “Bunny”, who must defend her Knockouts Championship next week at “Under Pressure” against Su Yung in a “Last Rights”match.

She’s already beaten Su Yung for the title before at Redemption, but can Allie do it again under these circumstances? And now that Allie has embraced “The Shadow”, it seems as if anything is possible for the champ.

Moose vs. Kongo Kong (without Jimmy Jacobs)

Noticeable by his absence is Jimmy Jacobs, because Kongo Kong comes out for his match with Moose without Jacobs for the first time. Something’s off, because Kong keeps looking back at the ramp for Jacobs. Is it possible he was the victim of a backstage attack? Or is he pretending he was attacked in order to throw everyone off the trial because there hasn’t been an attack this week? I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

Kong starts abusing Moose, imposing his will by using his size advantage, which, of course, isn’t usually what happens to Moose. But Moose comes back, first hitting his trademark dropkick and then taking the fight to the outside.

Moose nearly gets counted out after Kong sends him flying shoulder-first into the steel steps, and Kongo Kong takes advantage of the damage by just laying into Moose with some hard-hitting offense.

The monster goes for a massive splash on Moose after hitting an Ushigoroshi, but Moose rolls out of the way, inflicting serious damage on Kong for missing the high impact move. Moose kicks Kong three times, but the big man won’t fall until Moose finally hits him with a powerslam. He then nails him with a spear, and Kongo Kong suffers his first lost. That’s a massive win for Moose, and it allows Mr. Impact to build a case for the Impact World Title. There was no Jimmy Jacobs to save Kong, and I wonder where the Zombie Princess is.

As the show goes off the air, the weird logo comes on and the broadcast is cut short, hijacked by the mysterious attackers. And lo and behold, we see Jacobs laid out backstage. Could this even be a heel turn from someone who Kong targeted like Johnny Impact (hasn’t been on television since getting his face busted open by Kong) or even Moose? I’m excited to find out.
